What do you guys do about holding the head and rotor assembly together when you reassemble the pump? Do I need some grease to hold it? I'm sure that all goes back before the govenor lever and what not does.....?

I use Lube Guards transmission "Assemblee Goo" green stuff. Its really tacky and when it gets fuel or oil on it it turns super slick.
92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.

I was once told it was plant paraffin based so with that I passed over it. I have lots of it with building transmissions. Blue or green.

Sweet :)

I just hope it helps someone not be the level of chickschit I was being. I haven't got it on the truck yet....nor finished the pump top  ,but I feel that if you could rebuild a quadrojet carb off a old chevy then you can do this,or a dodge valve body. That's pretty bad

We could pretty well call ourselves the derailers. Shoot I've even been derailing a lot of threads elsewhere

"She" who? If you quit messing with that CR crap and work on a real truck you'd know that there are bolts or plugs on the VE that need that socket.

And it doesn't say triangle twice, it says triangular triangle, it's describing what kind of a triangle it is. Sheesh, kids!

From what I read in the description, yeah. All you need to pull the pump down except the mm wrenches.
