There are a 5 hole (not stock) available for them.... but highly unlikely. If they are 9 and have 4 holes.... they are stock.

theyre stock. why wouldnt the 5 hole be likely. how do you guys do a compression test on these motors?

I don't know of any company that sells the 5 hole 9mm shank injectors.

I've got a snap-on compression tester with the adapter for the 12v cummins. I bought (ordered and returned) and or borrowed a couple of cheaper sets that were supposed to have the right adapter, but none had the correct pieces.

got a picture of it? i just priced out a rebuild and testing them at the only diesel injector shop around here. they charge 42 bucks to test all of them and 390 to rebuild.

Well I tried a compression tester you just push into th hole and I can't hold the Damn thing over it lol. But I noticed something else. The injector pump is still shooting fuel out where all the lines bolt in despite having no power to the fss and even when i hold the stop lever. ????????

You'll always get some fuel. If you didn't you could fry the h/r assembly with an fss failure.

h/r assembly? Sorry I'm new to these terms. My fss switch has been on the fritz for a while. It only recently started working properly for whatever reason Idk

i pulled my afc cover today to look at where the fuel pin was set to and notice that someone lost one of the copper washers for the banjo bolt on the boost tube and replaced it with a little paper gasket that was trashed when i pulled it. so i dont know if that would make a difference also :?: :?

h/r assembly is the "distributor" or what distributes the fuel. Your fss being on the "fritz" lately may or may not lead to the problems suggested.

As far as the improper fix... that will cause a loss in power, but not a missing under load situation.
