So it started smoking white after the valve lash?

If it was smoking prior, and you just noticed it today after the valve lash........injectors or air. If it is not doing it an idle, I would suspect air. Other option is injection pump, but probably not, since it is new.

im pretty sure it needs injectors. The ol girl has some miles on her idk how much because the odometer hasnt worked in i dont know how long and has a little blowby. would there be any point to rebuilding and cleaning them ? because i cant find the 9mm injectors anywhere new and id like to stick with the 9mm setup.

We can do a set of completely stock injectors? Original 9mm nozzles and everything.

Or a set of 5x12 VCO marine angle 9mm injectors as well.

Marine angle is the same angle as you have now....

Let me get back to you on cost. It has been quite along time since we have sold the 9mm tips (not very common for folks to stay that route) and I need to check if costs have gone up. It may not be til Monday, but I WILL get back to you with pricing.

ok thanks let me know. why is it not common for people to stay with the 9mm tips? i just dont want to spent the extra money on adapters especially to downsize lol

i also noticed it seems to be leaking compression by the injectors in between the injector body and the hold down nut. because when i cracked the injector lines and fuel was sitting on top it was bubbling there on at least 4 of the injectors

Downsize? 9mm vs 7mm have nothing to do with flow.

But I put 9mm tips in my dad's truck. The advantage of the swap is to utilize a marine 370 injector. By far the best injector to put in a non i/c truck.

Dude, the adapters aren't expensive. Pennies on the dollar. If you ever have to pull/replace the head, you'll see your 9mm head is cracked and most machine shops will convince you that its junk (most likely isnt). My point being, if you get 7mm injectors, you're money ahead if you have to swap heads down the road.

The best idea might be just to get your current ones checked out.
