fan mounting bracket question

Postby jethro » Tue Mar 17, 2015 10:17 pm

I was just reading about the 2 styles of fan bracket. My engine has the older "centered" style bracket.
Not sure which style I will need till the engine is in I guess- and I see where everything is.....
If I have to switch brackets- are there pre-existing holes in the block for the newer style to bolt into ?

(12 valve rotary going into a ex-6 liter 2004 f-350)

The two different styles...Non-IC and IC both use the same bolt location, it's the off set of the fan hub that is different.
