full power screw/ 3200 spring

Postby bigtrev » Wed Aug 19, 2015 7:56 pm

Ok so I've installed the 3200 spring love it great product my only problem is I seem to have less top end a loss of 4 pounds of boost and what seems to be less smoke I have a read a million different forums but nothing has satisfied my question I have the full power screw completely bottomed out as I did before the 3200 I am wondering if maybe the 3200 spring is altering the full fuel setting to be less I tried indexing the throttle and turning down the idle with no success it reved High so I indexed back to stock don't know if I need to index then turn down the fuel screw to lower revs will this give me more fuel I am lost at this point maybe some one can shed some light

Also wanted to add that I was dead set to weld some extra length on my fuel pin until I read about indexing past stock I just want to know if my theory is correct that the 3200 spring does alter full power settings and will be less after 3200 spring thus needing to increase fuel settings to have the same power.i had before but through out the whole band also racking my brain that I have a factory lift pump (brand new) and maybe I have less power due to it fueling so much more down low so it's hitting 0 psi before I can get to max boost creating a lean mixture limiting boost

That should be enough to cover what I missed lmao I never use on forums seems like a waste of time but I guess

Proper writing is *NEVER* a waste of time, especially under these circumstances when you are trying to thoroughly describe an isue you need guidance on.

did you re index your throttle after installing the new spring? i know when i put the 4200 spring on i had to re index my throttle. or check that your fuel pin is getting full travel..
34 pounds of boost sounds right with stock everything. i make the same boost maxed out
