Fuel shutoff

Postby Collers9640 » Tue Sep 29, 2015 5:45 pm

This maybe a dumb question but does anyone know if you have a bad solinoid if some fuel still goes to the injector or does it completely stop all fuel.
I only ask because i was troubleshooting my wiring and jumpers do my battery to the solenoid and the truck fired up I then figured out why my ignition had not been working so fired it up and the truck would not start so I cracked my injectors and still had fuel at the injectors. I cracked them because the truck has been sitting awhile so I was trying to purge any bad fuel that might have been causing the problem
