Hate to hear that.......when was the last time the valves were adjusted? how many miles on the motor?
1992 W250, 5 speed, 4.10, Ext. cab Ext. bed, 12.5k winch, 75 gal. fuel tank

H1C/18

Fuel: THD 6x10 VCO sticks, THD 12 psi piston pump, THD fuel pin, 366 spring, fuel screw 2 turns in, timing to the head/ >1/4”
Muffler delete

Minimum 60% WMO full time since Sep. 2018

Non IC heads are very prone to cracking between the injector bore and valve seats

Adjusted the valves on it last year. dont know how many miles, the odometer and speedo hasnt worked in who knows how long but its been a work truck its whole life so i cant imagine the miles being too low

You probably know this but I'd take the injectors out before you remove the head, it's all too easy for the tips to get damaged
