If I'm hitting a particular 8% grade hill and I take it at 38 in 5th, it will pull the hill without losing or gaining speed. There is almost zero boost and the smoke is rolling, yet the exhaust temps will not get above 1100 if there is no boost present.
Smoking heavy with no boost, how come egts don't get hot until a little boost is a factor?
