The FF42000 is incredibly handy, easy to grab ahold of.

Because they're often too cheap to fix the thing. (IMO, of course).

In my case......the leak was actually in the things electrical connection. Dripping fuel is.....uncool.

My 2nd gen was sucking air thru the plug in the fuel heater, it got old bleeding it everyday to start it the 1st week I had it. I had to pressurize the whole system to find it. I have a new heater sitting here, I never put it in. I use the block heater and cut my fuel with kerosene and haven't had any problems.

You take the single filter off and put on an adapter, then it takes the regular filter and a larger separator.

you can buy the nipple through Case for a whole lot cheaper if you're going to delete the housing. And I wouldnt call people that delete the heater lazy. Most states don't even need it. My truck would start fine in the winter on just the winter blend diesel. Our Diesel tractor would start with out a fuel heater. The other benefit is that it won't leak again. I'm still running the heater on my crew but my 4wd done fine without it.
