X2^! When I went from the draw straw to the sump I gained a couple psi. Hard to believe feeding from the bottom makes that much difference!
I still have factory lines from the LP to the IP. All I did was drill out the holes in the banjo bolts.

My impression was it was less so the location as the change in size. Iirc the stock straw is 3/8" causing a restriction right off the bat whereas the sump has 1/2" right from the get go. That instant extra volume translates to higher pressure

My draw straw was 1/2 inch ID. ;)
I put in the sump to get away from the 1/4 tank sucking air issue.

Well then. I guess a sump really is the best thing for getting the fuel out of the tank

Well looking at my fuel cell I've had in storage I'll be getting some fat fuel lines as well! Funny how things work out like that. But after doing some reading I feel a bit nervous even considering this idea cause there is no sump or fuel sender location.

It has multiple options including a bottom corner port which I would probably use.

There's no where to put a tank under the truck? I'd hate the thought of not having a gauge in it if it was mine.

to be honest I haven't been running a gauge in my truck for a couple of years. Im still running the stock dodge tank but had to drop it down about 6 inches to clear the cab. if you go back a couple pages and look at the side profile of my truck you will notice it. most people don't till I point it out. I think it would look a lot better if it wasn't hanging down so far. I could mount it over the driveline but I think it would be more of a pain in the ass than anything and it might not even work at that... kinda why I was wanting to go the fuel cell route, and I already have one from another project.

So I put the new lift pump from THD and maxed the IP(probably 3 full turns) It's impressive now! The turbo spools crazy fast and peg 40 PSI with ease! It almost scared me when I broke the 37's loose in 2nd! I don't even want or need injectors anymore. I know the price tag is a lot for the SXE but it's worth it. Every penny! The highest egti could hit was 1100* to the wood. Thanks Eric for everything!

I had about 4 turns till I got close to run away. So I left it about 3/4 a turn from there. I've always played it safe with the fuel screw after watching the video of the Dodge run away on the dyno.
