A good thing to do when putting the turbine housing on is coat it in neverseize. That'll make it come apart easier the next time.

My gauge reads max @35psi of boost only one they had in stock (napa canada). Are you having black smoke issues with the 60mm Ellis93?

That depends entirely on my pump settings and foot vs load. Under normal driving conditions there is no smoking, pulling I get a haze under moderate throttle while trying to gain speed.......if I push it,sure, there's lots

I have the GDS 60 with the 16 on my 92. I want to go back to the 18 because of high EGT when towing. I have stock injectors, a reground M2 pin, and only slight adjustments to the pump. Boost maxes out at about 22psi.

I feel like you'll be going the wrong way going from a 16 to an 18. The problem isn't drive pressure, it's the fact you aren't spinning the turbo fast enough at your towing rpm causing a lack of air volume, and subsequently high egts

That was with some honed 7x10 injectors and a nearly maxed pump/m&h m2 pin......the 7hole injectors give huge amounts of torque anyhow,so I can't really tell you anything about the effect of the turbo. I can tell you it felt real healthy. Now with the backed off pump and honed 5x10s......it works but the bottom end isn't there like with the other injectors. It's slow to spool compaired to the two.

It is a good idea. I ended up not doing it when I started mine after the compounds went on due to not having an oil squirt can, and they've been fine. They were both run previously though, so they did have some oil in them.

Your time is probably more valuable than mine haha but I soaked mine 4 days in advance 4 times and it came right off

When I first met pulltilbroke he was running 55psi out of his high tech stage 4! It lived just fine and it was non intercooled. We advanced the timing and brought the boost down to 45. He did take the thrust bearing out once, FWIW. The little holsets are tougher than people think. We currently both run HX35W turbos with the 60mm 6 blade and 12cm gated housings. I gate mine at 30 psi on the dually my egts are spot on loaded. I ran a H1C, HTT 4 at 45 psi for years, never had an issue. Good little turbos.
