BHAF air filters---

Postby jethro » Thu Apr 21, 2016 7:55 pm

I have a BHAF air filter----
I am just now trying to mount it -
It is a DuraLite #546637 and is about 8+1/2 by 11 (main body)

I am having a little trouble fitting it in the available space-
My question - is - do they make slightly smaller versions of the same general type of filter ?
maybe a bit skinnier ?

Thanks-

You can get on Donaldson's website and do some searching, I'm sure there is something that's smaller that may flow the same amount of CFM.

Thanks CP-
i did that all ready--- only one with same rubber connector is the same just a few inches shorter......

i ended up hacking out a watermelon sized hole in my inner fender well- and making a fiberglass piece to go
in to seal it up - making an indentation to lower the filter down about 4 inches - and give much better hood clearance
and to make it about levle now.
