With my 3 the worst thing I saw was the case bolts were all the way in, but I bet 3 or 4 bolts on one truck were finger tight. On my 92 someone had done the drill trick on the case side to hold in the dowel pin, but when I took the cover off the bolts needed re torque.

Did 3 KDP's so far on VE/1st Gens. One might have moved a bit, but was very slight if at all. All three had timing housing bolts that were very loose. Force of habit was the only think keeping them in place.
