Well now is a fine time to tell me! I just put a Napa seal in my engine 2 weeks ago and it was the regular style. I hope it holds as I haven't had much luck with rear seals in the past.

That guy has been selling those for a while. Suppose to have sold the last of them some time ago. I guess not.

I've got one in my mess. No leaks.

I put a "new" cummins rear seal on my 93 motor when I had it out, and followed all the FSM procedures on installing it properly....still leaks! Think I will be ordering a couple of these for when I eventually have the tranny out for a new clutch.

Thanks for the link!

That is the mysteryman from a few of these forums. I spoke to him once years back, he seems stuck on himself. I AM THE BEST AND YOU SUCK kinda guy.

I was being a good boy and keeping my mouth shut, but Richie brings up a point. Years ago he was a great guy on TDR helping people etc. Then he got sick, cancer or something, and now he's not so nice, and not helpful. Somebody posts asking about turning up their truck, he spouts off about how it's designed to work at that hp and don't touch it! or some crap. Saw it several times, and a few on here. My opinion of him dropped a lot after that.

Everyone can be an saslohe. Some more than others......I've been one a time or two (ask Eric lol) and for the most part we generally let it pass. I spoke with this man on the phone and was impressed with the knowledge he had. I'm not on many diesel forums....well I don't post on them, and haven't seen any post from him to deny or confirm his personality.

None of that has a thing to do with the seal......it works

Yup, several times he had basically called anyone who modded there truck an idiot. Ellis, he posted on other forums several years back and was a real pain. I wanted to pick his brain too, but lost interest when I talked to him. He thinks he designed these trucks himself.
