acc. linkage source ?

Postby jethro » Fri Jun 17, 2016 11:53 pm

Somewhere----- about 6 months ago I remeber running across an ad for an aftermarket throttle linkage
with the snap-on ball ends. i think it was all metal. I see mine has a crack in the plastic base where the rod
screws into it. Still working but would like a better one maybe...... prevent future failure....

Does anyone remember where I saw that ???????? (I remember chrysler had a rebuild kit--- but that wasnt it)

There is a kit available from cummins, it's an upgrade kit with metal ends. A search should give you a part number, or maybe somebody who knows it will chime in.
Edit;
A quick search turned it right up,

Kit is 4089076, includes rod, two nuts and two ends. Ends separately are 3990093 and 3990094.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
