Start with battery connections and then see if everything in the fuse box has power. If not, a fusible link probably burned up. Also check the 2 wire plug near the battery, that supplies power to the activator on the starter. You may have knocked it loose doing the filter.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I finally got it to start no fusible links I put in a fuse block ...but here’s what’s weird in order to start it have to to jump the starter straight to the battery, some times ... now my lights flicker driving down the road an my gauges are not reading there just bouncing back an forth, an no my brake peddle is hard

Everything was normal an fine yesterday morning

At the back of the engine on the left side are 2 large connectors, a black one and a gray one. What you have described has to do with that black connector. Unplug it and reseat it, see if that helps.

Those 2 connectors are the main interface between the engine, transmission and the body. Disconnecting the fuel heater could have disturbed that connector. The same one the starter is wired through along with the fuel solenoid.
