H1C Stock Compressor Wheel Needed!!

Postby Collers9640 » Sat Jun 08, 2019 10:15 pm

Well my dumbass was trying to separate my turbine housing to put the BD 16cm on and in the process I loosened the clamp on the compressor housing to rotate it so I could tap on the turbine housing and didn’t tighten it up enough and when I hit the turbine the compressor housing came off and chipped the compressor wheel blades.
Does anyone have one or know what the part number is. I’ve been searching and have come up with nothing

What kind of nut does it have holding the wheel to the turbine shaft? It is said that a 6 point nut is core balanced (turbine/compressor assembly) and the 12point is unit balanced (individual items). I can not confirm that other than say I put a Gillett Diesel 60mm compressor wheel on one and haven’t had the first issue in 7/8yrs with huge amounts of run time.
If I had the same thing happen to me I would suck it up and buy an upgrade wheel rather than fool with finding and installing a factory wheel. That said I have a couple of H1C wheels and the bigger HX35 wheels w/housings.

Small FYI.......the compressor nut is left handed and torque for that nut is 135in#. Loctite is your friend as well.
