Hot Wired

Postby lazyjoe » Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:28 am

A friend of mine has a 91, 3/4 ton, 5 speed, 4/4. A couple of weeks ago it would'nt start unless he put a hot-wire to the injector pump. When it warmed up he could take the wire off, and it would start fine. Now he has to leave it on all the time, when he wants it to run. And take it off to kill it. Is there a relay some where?

On the shut-off. He says now he can take it off when it warms up, and it's fine. Or if the temp. outside is above 50 it works ok.
