You do not need any mods to enjoy the benefits of the spring. It's duty is a fueling governor. Stock defueled at approximatley 2350rpm on my truck and now more like 3100rpm.

hope this helps, insteat of holding the top hat and spring and using plyers to remove the spring, just pull the trotle shaft out of the pump top much easyer, its not a big deal you can have it done in 30 mins for first timmer and 10mins after that, just make sure you mark the groves were the shaft and the throlte are or just make sure you have sombody ready to shot the truck off lol

your going to like the mod

hey just one question were do you live i cant figuar it out

Where did you copy that from?????? Its missing half the address. I'm guessing, but it looks like you grabbed it out of the DTR sticky. Open them first then copy the address from the browser. For what ever reason that system likes to chop links down to a certain length on the text, but the actual link embedded is correct and does work. Thats why you see the "..." in the middle of the url address.

I put mine in sunday afternoon. I can't believe it made that much of a difference. The truck feels a lot better. I went ahead and turned the fuel pin since I had it out. Thought about removing the afc, but if I put 370s or 435s in I'm worried how it'll tow.

Oh, and I got my spring from Piers diesel.
