lift pump install

Postby hoghead » Mon Jan 15, 2007 3:46 pm

Installed lift pump no leaks so far but the leaky fuel heater is now leaking worse I guess from the lift pump actually holding pressure instead of leaking like it did before. The parts are on the way for leaky fuel heater. Question is am I right to think that my theory on the fuel heater leak is correct. When I get all these leaks fixed will I have more throttle response, power,or fuel economy.

If your truck, engine is the average daily driver, you will notice no difference. If your on the dyno, you may.
If you have a fuel pressure gauge, it may be up depending upon how much fuel your loosing from the heater.

I would have removed the heater if your not in very cold climate.
