Give us the pump no's. I will look them over. The governor could be a bit different. You don't need an AFC to operate the pump. Some don't have one. It's an automotive application. It you mean the afc casting is there, and your only missing the diaphragm, then yes the rubber diaphragm will be the same.

Most likely. However, the internals can differ. The head size/gov function etc.etc. can and will differ.

I'll look it up. I need the Bosch and/or the Cummins pump part number.

You mean the fuel delivery valves?

I'll take a stab and say the hyd. head will be smaller, probably 10mm and the gov' assy is probably a little different. Just a guess though. I am interested to see what you have and if you can make it work.

Most industrials have no AFC. It should work, but I would get the numbers to GL and let him check it.

ok guys today i had some time to work on my truck today, so i removed the 354 gov and put the 366 in also checked(tightened) the fuel lines, retarded the timing a bit from where it was(to get to the allen) and the problem seemed to go away. feels like the power is down a little but its running good, thinking that it was the gov spring after all, dont know why it took 2 months to start acting like it did :?:
well at least now i have a pump kit if it does go T/U

i have to go out to where the engine is tomorrow to get some parts of it for a friend and ill get cummins and pump #s.
THANKS

I would want Scott's opinion on this but i think your in luck on the pump. It fits the criteria of a "make from" pump from what info I have.

Hope I can explain this and someone corrects me if I'm wrong or leave something off. The pumps are built and sold unit specific for engine CPL numbers, when they have the same internals they can be made to work for a different engine CPL. In the book there is a term "make from", you xxx out one number and reclassify the pump with the new numbers. This pump happens to have the right numbers for you to use I think. Sounds like you'll have to use the AFC components but the guts should be good, the gov' would be one thing in question though. From what I read if the first seven digits are the same you can use the pump as a "make from" pump. Same use different application etc.

Well c'mon Greenleaf!! What's the deal on that pump? Sounds like a winner the way sdstriper described it. It would be cool if you could swap on an afc housing/top cover and your 366 gov spring, then you'd have a useable VE.
92, does that industrial 5.9 have an air to water aftercooler on top it or is it non-intercooled? Selling any parts  ?
