VE delivery valve

has anyone thought about or has had there delivery valves cut in a VE I was talking to some guys and they were sanding and then would mic them but does anyone know of anyone that would laser cut them I would just take them out but I dont want it to be that hard to start

I dont think the DVs are a limiting factor like they are on the P7100 and others. I do know a guy who made some pretty good numbers with some marine DVs, and PODs (both HP/Tq, and MPG).

pucket do you happen to remember what those numbers where? and also what the difference is in our DV's compared to marine DV's?
93 w250 reg cab. rigged up stock downpipe to 4 inch to 5 inch exhaust from p.o. mild pump tweaks and all other stock for now. Project "smoke a little smoke". www.c-techperformance.com

well i know that the dv is a fuel restrictor and you can take them completley out but it his hard to get your truck started when there not in there just like taking the fuel plate completely out of a P-pump you can do it but it doesnt like to start well and lunges but it does give good performance pulling and if you could get the marine numbers would be very appreciated

ive heard, but i dont know from experince that the dodges that were outfited for airplane hauling, or what ever they did had bigger DVs

and maby some Case backhoes

again no prof, but maby somthing to look into

The industrial equipment is lower hp than our trucks.
The newer stuff is up close, but not close to the equivalet truck engine. Last year I worked on a paver that had 210 hjp. But it was a 24valve engine. The common rail stuff is only about the same. Ever see a common rail truck with 210 hp? Only with 3 injection lines off. ;)
