I have messed with my timing more than i can count with both hands and have not had a problem, if you are worried about cracking a line, loosen them at the back of the pump and tighten them back up when your done setting your timing. :D

Yep, but they are not bent, at least not in the sense that you have passed the limit of their elasticity. Does that make sense? :?

How much of a hassle is it to loosen and reattach the lines?


If it was a problem I'm sure ya'll would now, but from where I come from a vibrating pipe with tension applied to it is more likely to crack then the vibrating pipe without the tension. The latter pipe absorbs energy by moving back and forth; the one with tension on it can't move, so instead it shears itself in half... Just sort of strikes me as wrong...
