Cajun93 is like me, I keep fuel logbooks in every vehicle, I can average fuel economy for 30-50000 miles. :) I keep track of mileage trends so I can determine what effects things have on mileage. For example driving in Indiana in flat ground country I can average 1-2mpg better than I average in the hill country around here.

7a: '93 W250 SRW auto
Best ever: 20 mpg on a 350-mile trip
Summer: 17.5 mpg on a 15-mile one-way commute
Winter: 16 (same commute, cold weather, w/ hubs in and/or 4x4 engaged part of the time)
Overall average I would put at 17 mpg

This isn't the one in my sig--this is the one (regular cab) I sold in October that I had for 10 years, bone stock. Haven't been able to afford to fill the new one yet to check the mileage!

21 on the way to SOP, at about 75-80 mph. If I hook up the trailer (25' goose) 10 or 11.

I write my fuel stops in a logbook. When I fill up I note the mileage and how many gallons. By doing this I can average fuel mileages for months or years, all I have to do is add up the miles and the gallons used for that time period and divide it out to get my mileage. :P
