Leaking WIF Sensor

Postby cedardiesel » Sat Feb 21, 2009 7:46 pm

I got a problem with my Water In Fuel sensor leaking and I have replaced the sensor itself because the original one was leaking also. I have been running the solid bottom filters for some time and didn't have a problem but would like to have the sensor operable just for the peace of mind that if I happen to get a bad batch of fuel. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Make sure it is not the square cut o-ring seal on top of the fuel heater.

Is that the one that you put on before you put the filter on cause if so t isn't leakin cause the filter is completely dry and clean of fuel.

It is above the fuel heater between the heater and the head.
