It's very nice on the automatics as well. From a performance standpoint, the engine is still making power when the trans shifts, instead of the stock setup where the power has fallen off by the time the trans gets around to shifting. It's nice for towing, too, because you can hold drop out of OD when trans temps get too high and still maintain road speed.

The spring is also nice on the autos for the simple fact that it takes less pedal to drive. I also can run 70+MPH in 3rd now, which as Dave said, is good for towing.

Not to hijack your thread, but where do you buy a 3200 spring? I've poked around on some diesel places and can't seem to find one. Do they suck to put in?

The best place to get one is at a diesel injection shop. There's at least one in every decent sized city.

I paid $15 for mine at my local pump shop. When you pull the old one off, the piece it's attached to will go flying if you are not careful. Un hook it from the throttle arm, then let it off slowly.
