When I was going to run a holley electric pump, I was going to run it solo. I was also going to go with the black pump because it flows more gph at the same pressure. After talking to a couple people I decided to go with a mechanical pump because my truck is a daily driver, and there seems to be some reliability issues with the holley pumps. Not everybody I talked too had issues, just enough that I decided to go in a different direction.

"Tandem" as in series, or "tandem" as in parallel?

Aren't there Holley pumps that need to be regulated down? I would like a Holley due to price and availability, but I'd like something that might be able to put out 30 PSI or so if I'd ask of it.
