93 Tow truck build.....

Postby LOGANSTANFORTH » Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:02 am

so i want to do some work to my 93 flat bed, im thinking some type of turbo upgrade (wether it be complete turbo swap or just compressor and turbine housings), i can get great deals from a local shop in orlando and tampa on pretty much any turbo i could ever want so thats no problem, bigger injectors of some sort, maybe 435's or 6x16's if i got enough air, and of course exhaust, well actually just the down pipe, i have to get the rest custom made or modify a kit cause of the flat bed on the truck hangs low, i got a good smooth firm shifting low mileage tranny so im thinking a suncoast lockup converter and a good valve body with a MILD shift kit......

here is the turbo im looking at, i know its got a T4 flange but i am going to call and see if i can get one in a T3, which im hoping i can.....

I was also looking at this one if i can get enough fuel to spin it good, i may ask if they got a 62 or 64 available though.......i may end up using one of these on my 96 pulling truck if it will tech legal.......
