366 what did i screw up???

Postby Mike6bt » Sun Aug 02, 2009 11:59 am

Ok , i gots me a 91 non i/c auto with some pump tweaks
i recently installed the 366 spring and while i was there i bumped the timing on it. Upon fire up it would idle real high but when i put it in gear it would lug down and wanna snuff out
so i brought the timing back, and played with the fuel screw and got the ol girl to hold her own in gear but the idle is still wayy to high ???

If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
91 3/4
-straight pipe
-no i/c
-slightly massaged pump

366 Spring mod

I had the same problem, when I put mine in. I just adjusted the lever on the front of the IP. It's kind of a pain, but it helped alot and then I fine tuned it with the linkage adjustment.

No prob man, a little friendly advice goes a long way. That's how i've gotten all my stuff done, just by askin' questions.
