oil smoke.

Last week I pulled my tractor up to Oregon. I worked my engine pretty hard. Now I am hazing blue smoke. I also use a little water now. Is it possible to burn oil with a blown head gasket? Or are my rings and head gasket bad? Any way to diagnose for one or the other to determine which or both?
