IP interference ?

Postby Tacoclaw » Wed Nov 04, 2009 4:19 pm

I have a weird issue on my IP.

Right under my AFC , there is a cast in piece of aluminum.

I've shaved just a little bit off the edge of it, to let my throttle travel 'till the nut hit, but now I want the extra travel that I can get from the nut being allowed to pass.

All the other VEs I have seen haven't had that piece in the way of the throttle, and I as just wondering if there was a reason it was there on mine. I'd like to just have a slot in it to let my throttle go the rest of the way, but figured I'd check and see if it served a purpose before I tried anything stupid.

Thanks for your input.

Sorry about the pics, but it was just too dark when I finally remembered to grab this pic. Time change sucks. :x
