Ah so grasshopper been askin all over town without much answer - whats a GOOD injector,

so far I have purchased three sets, without havin installed a single one cuz I dont just get the new ones home only to find out I was led down the garden path yet again for whats needed to get BIG hp.

I have someone who will make me edm 5x14, 6x12, 6x14, 6x18, however no one seems able to answer the question as to which is best, which is tooooooo much for short term street use, and which cleans up beest.

If I understand injectors correctly more smaller holes will make better power then less and bigger holes, because the spray is finer

So somebody please spill the right info - I am goin broke losin money resellin too small injectors,

Anybody got a set of used - BIG enough - injectors?

I already have 3/8" lines from the tank. A Flow check/test suggests it is enough until I get my hands on a 14 mm head.

If you are the original purchaser Weldon will fix/repair your pump for little money if any. They have excellent product support!

You are putting 60 PSI of fuel at the vane pump?

I knew that you had a retainer so that you could go over the stock 15 PSI, but holy mole...

Seeker, dont know if this will help you or not, I have 435 injectors "5x14" and they are all the fuel my truck can handle as is. I just sold a set of 370s "5x12" and there was a pretty noticeable difference between the two.

I mis spoke. I should have said 350 HP. I would like the rest of my truck to hold together. The way I should have phrased my Question probably is, are the PODs to small for my 14mm H&R if I dont wind up the pump to much. I priced Schied EDMs and I wont be spending that kind of money.

I am not 100% sure but I was told that most or all of the edm'd injectors in the mid west are all cut at the same shop. Mine were cut at this shop and sold to me through New era diesel. (same as Dale's) but mine are 6x.018. For less than $700 to my door I don't think I'll be gettin any from shied's anytime soon. When I get the truck back together with the 14mm,edm's and twins hopefully I'll be up fairly high on the list. I got a few ideas and alot of will to get to 700hp some day . Just before I broke it I did some extensive throttle travel modifications. With the stock springs it's still pull's pretty hard to 3400 and that's where it broke so she might go higher, Idon't know.

There are 2 guys here locally with modified stock chargers and 14mm heads. They pull in the stock charger class and drive them around all the time, so if you don't have the fuel setup a bunch you shouldnt be stressing the pump too much.

First of all KTA, you ARE the man.
How long have you been running the lash at .006-.012? I want to set mine that way too, but I don't want to burn a valve!

It has been that way for like 5 years and 50,000 miles, i check them every oil change since I run them tight.

Do they ever tighten up on you in between checks?
