Need thoughts on Pacrake E Brake

Postby Bschwarzli » Mon Nov 30, 2009 3:53 pm

So I am in the process of replacing my cracked downpipe and while doing it, I thought it might be a ood idea to do an ebrake install now that I am a 5 speed! :D

Have been looking at two options but need advice:

Option 1 - PacBrake Inline PRXB with Stans Headers 4" turbo back system. The downside is the only spot to mount the brake that I could see would be right behind the transfer case pipe.

Option 2 - Go with the regular PacBrake 14000 ebrake, and it bolts to the turbo, and use a Pacbake downpipe designed to work with the e brake. The downside, I would have to figgure out a pipe to go around the t case.

So this is where I sit!

I am very open to thoughts and opinions!

What should I do?

Crew is to be picked up this week from the second round at paint. The first was faulty primer so there was issues. Not much pics or anything as it has been there since October.

As for the 4" and prxb, yeah. I LOVE it! SOOOO glad I went with the stronger brake. SOOO worth the effort. Sound got much deeper too! :D
