Looking for KTA and some help

How the engine works

Some of the equipment at work doesn't have an AFC, and some does. I don't know what the difference is. Emissions?

AFC is automotive application. Back in the old days, off road and probably gen sets too(?) didn't have to worry about EPA mandates. (now they do)

The timing has nutt'n to do with the fuel delivery rate/amount.

There are different governors. Look at your Bosch Theory of Operation manual for injection pumps. The gen sets use a different gov. Now I cannot recall they "they" use the constant speed or variable speed gov. I think our application is the variable, but then my mind cannot retain all I have read either.

Hey, the MOST important thing to keep "in mind" is that you don't want to have such an open mind that your brains fall out. :oops: :shock: :cry: :wink:
