just bought a 89 with @ 230000 miles on it the guy i bought the truck had rebuilt the 5 speed and all of the front end so how could i go wrong thought i would put a quick paint job on it flatbed and drive it bbbbbbut notice a leak at the head on the pump when its cold. goes away after it gets warm can have it rebuilt for @ 700 was wondering what u guys think or know or a cheaper way out any input would be greatfull

i have a customer with the same problem we just bought him a new pump for 800 and just gona switch it out, was gona tackle the job but was wisely advised not to (thanks kta)

If you dont mind shipping it out, I know a local guy who can go through it- seals, run on stand, and throttle shaft bushing update- for ~$425. I've had a few pumps done, and was happy with the results. Just waiting on enough horses to shoe to have the cash to take him my pump.

would you know if the guy would give a warranty i dont mind shipping the 700 was with one year warranty got my brake box wired today my son has been out of school for the last three days and im a paying for my raiseing im layed off tommo; going to get windshield in hope to paint flatbed by weeked its a pain being a foot thanks for the quick responce
