im wondering if any body knows where i can a a ve pump keyway i cant find one thanks

Probably the best bet is the local fuel shop. I think I read somewhere that it's a metric woodruff key.

Diesel Mechanic you could measure it with a dial indicator if you can get close but to big you can tweek it with a file, (TAP) it in gently it'll be great.
