Antoher twins ?

Postby dazedandconfused » Mon May 21, 2007 3:41 pm

Ok with everyone talking about twins it has me thinking. If i run a Hybrid HX35 over a S400 will it be laggy? Which would be a better bottom end charger and S400 or a BHT3B? Any one know were a cheap place to find a bottom turbo at? City Diesel has the S400 for $650 and the BHT3B for $625. Also does anyone know a cheap place to find the pipeing? Source has it but are they the only ones? I want a good towing setup that will support between 400-600Hp.

Its cheaper to get the turbos from City diesel. Rip is suppose to get me a price on just pipeing. Need to talk to a few friends about building the pipeing for me.

u cant beat Ebay at an average of $325.00 US. for an HT3B new in the box

Piping is very easy n cheap to assemble, its the clamps n hoses that cost money - $5+ each for the clamps, and $5-10 for the boots each.

I think I might have $200 in all of the piping, boots, n clamps, on my setup

I got a good used ht60 for 125.00 off Ebay seller saug or something like that. I bought a few parts from him and I have been very happy, he describes his stuff well.

The pipe I used was 4 and 5 inch. most of it I got off a friend that works at a semi truck repair shop. I got 5 in mild steel exhaust for a rig with like 2 90 deg and 2 45 deg mandrel bends for 30.00 per tube. Try to find a friend who fixes big rigs.

anything special I needed I got form http://www.airflo.com or http://www.intakehoses.com or off good old Ebay
