stupid question, but what the point of having a valet switch? what does it do? is it to cut off boost to the AFC, to get more smoke? thanks

If you cut boost to the afc then the fuel pin does not push down which in turn will not add more fuel. It will take away 10 or more psi worth of fuel. Good for towing so things don't get as hot and also good if other people drive the truck. :D

By not allowing the fuel pin to move, you reduce/limit fuel.
