i was wondering how much it would cost (an estimate) to convert my auto tranny to a 5 speed
92 3/4 Cummins with coverted getrag 5 speed, 4x4 PODS,3200 Gov spring,16cm housing, 4inch exhuast homemade downpipe, water meth,hx35 turbo,5 inch stainless intake with AFE filter, fuel turned up, timing bumped boost,pyro guages, Denny T fuel pin,coolertubz,piston lift pump

I looked into it a few years ago, and it would have been upwards of $2500. But, if you find a good used tranny, with all the attachments, I know of a few parts trucks you can get pedals from. You MIGHT be able to get by with it for $1500.

You can likely build your auto for what it would cost to convert it to shift from the right place.

I had about 2K in mine, that was with new clutch and an overhaul on the getrag.
1990 W250, 185K, 727 to G360 conversion, 3.07's to 4.10's, straight piped, BHAF, 2.5" Skyjacker springs, Autometer gauges, 285 Cooper STT's,

Mine started at $600, but with a rebuild and a new clutch, I just finished it up at about the same $2k.
