Hmm... How to verify it's a new engine...
The best thing to do would be to run a couple oil analyses through
Blackstone and check for blow-by and compression.
None of which will tell you the age of the engine, but if everything is running ship-shape then the engine is capable of lasting another 1,000,000 miles, no matter how old it is.
