I had a doozy at work today.

It's been a problem for a long time. Blind corners and forklifts. There are stop signs and mirrors. You're supposed to carry the load backwards and stop. We have gone as far as putting up systems that detect movement and flash a red light to help this problem.

2 months ago I see a buddy of mine driving with the load forward, unable to see around the double stack of totes that are 40"x48"x60" he was carrying. He came around one of these blind corners. I yelled at him and he said he had f'in work to do so leave him alone. The guy I was working with mentioned to the safety director in our morning meeting. Here is the kicker: she was more worried about if he said F you or if he had f'in work to do. I asked her about the safety violation and she just shrugs her shoulders.

Today I am pushing my maintenance cart. The lead warehouse driver comes flying around the corner, not slowing down. I lit off like a bomb strapped Muslim in the middle of a Jewish Synagogue. He had the audacity to tell me I had no reason to get mad that he stopped less than a foot away from my cart, he just didn't see me. My mouth dropped open and I lit off again. "That f'en stop sign is there so you can STOP AND LOOK AT THE F'EN MIRROR RIGHT THERE!" He then said there's no reason to yell and it was a mistake and I didn't need to cuss. "I AM TIRED OF NEARLY GETTING HIT BY YOU FRICKEN RETARDS!" I yelled again. I walked away before I made it personal.

I called my boss to warn him about impending grief I may have cause him. I hope a get written up because then I am going to the president (next level up from my boss and very friendly) and having him sign the damn thing. I am then taking a photograph of it with his, mine, and my bosses signatures. If I get hit, I am getting a lawyer. I don't care if it's just my foot, I am PISSED about this. Another guy in my dept even went to the head financial gal explaining the situation of potential lawsuits if someone gets hit. She said to go through the channels. We have and we are tired of it. Next time I get a close call, I am paging the whole fricken place to get managers down there.

Good thing about me being friendly, I page and they answer.

What a sissy, man up and take the hit!

Philip! It didn't work! :( I flipped it, bled the air from the gas and lit it. An hour later it was still warm, not even trying to cool down. Any other ideas?

Thanks guys. It's been a long 9 month transformation. The only thing the same from when we bought is the rear end and the sheet metal. We built it from frame up. Transmission is out of a super farm tractor in michigan. I forgot the front wheels and tires are the same lol.

I got to see vids of it pulling on FB, the rest of you non-social E-tards need to get with it. Looks mighty fine, mang.

Though I do have to ask...

Who did you have mask off those front wheels, Stevie Wonder? :P

So I guess the fan clutch is screwed up on the 7.3. Its running all the time now. Ellis didn't you have problems with the aftermarket fan clutches on your Dodge?

Yeah, they wouldn't last. Towing was the issue with them. They just wouldn't lock up after they got a little old. Also it seemed my ac suffered from them as well.

That's what I thought. Mine is locked up now and won't free spin. Truck sounds like a dam jet all the time.

I believe its been like that since I bought it. I've only put 200 miles on it in the last 5 or 6 months.
