I know it!

Then when a good one comes along, a bunch of FRT and TMV owners come along saying its a $3000 truck because its 22 years old. Never mind the flawless body, or immaculate engine bay. Stock too.

True, there was a '97 Ford F350, PS diesel, 5spd, 4wd standard cab for sale about an hour south of me, saw it in the weekly auto rag. 70,xxx original miles, was in really great shape, old man owned, no rust, dents, minor paint scratches, really nice cared for truck
$25000

Ellis that stock trailer reminded me of a job I was asked to bid on. Guy wanted his trailer patched up so he could sell it. Frame was broke just I'm front of the axles, they had cut the top down, so only thing you could haul was sheep or goats, floor gone, rear swing door had fallen off due to rust.
Man didn't understand why I wouldn't just patch it,

I'm not sure I like the Poly body mounts. Now I can feel every ripple and bump in the road, and my u-joints feel 4 times worse overnight! I got the joints changed tonight, I put in good ones this time instead of the carquest ones that last about 1 trip to Peru and a month around here.

No chit! I see engine donors listed for $3000 firm. Here I am with a truck ready for DD duty that looks presentable with a solid drivetrain and the phone's silent at $4000.

Well you seemed sensible owning a dodge. Then the nuttiness started shining through with the purchase of that THING

I'm pretty sure Caleb waltzed in here babbling about Fords first thing. We all realized he was ...special... so we just went ahead and gave him a break.

I can't rag on Caleb to bad. I'm still debating pulling the engine from the Duck for one of my Ford projects.

Andy, that's still smarter than leaving the engine in a ford. ;)

I got my fuel transfer switch and the radio swapped out. Making progress. I went to throw a CD in the new radio to see if the player worked, and it wouldn't go in. So then I had a bright idea and hit the eject button and a disc came out. Dixie Chicks! SCORE! 8)

Pete, I'm apparently not your FB friend, so I'll have to ask here.
