I really want to but I've been spending so much on my pickup lately I need to slow it down for a while. Maybe THD wants to start sponsoring? :D

By this time next week my Jetta should be DPF and EGR-less. She'll also have a full 3" straight pipe and Malone stage II tune, I've already hit over 50mpg in this car before so I'm hoping 55mpg or so won't be out of the question now.

Happy birthday Ducati

Does anyone know what the hole size and number of them are in a 24v factory injector? I'm coming up short on that.

I have a set of vp injectors at home I could try to count the holes on, but I wouldn't be able to tell you size

PToombs wrote:Ike, I got a starter at Pepboys several years ago and it's still going strong. Paid about 150 IIRC.

Finally found an OE starter to replace the junker on my pile. Hopefully it arrieves somewhat timely as I really want to get the thing back up and going good for the trip to Michaels before the decent paychecks run out. Found a straight days mechanic job in my company maintaining a small fleet at a small service center, I'd be all by myself...which is the best way I like to work anyways. The shift work I am on now is really hurting the family life, especially with medical concerns with the baby. Kids are only little once, I missed a year and then some of my oldest because of deploying overseas, I want to spend more time with the wife and kids these days and not working 12 hour days, every day for weeks on end.

Money isn't everything, and family comes first ;)

Also Ellis, I'm a man of my word. Remember when I said that if I ever rebuilt my engine, I would run a 7 hole? I would do it by raising the compression..........

My 24 valve, I am. I am running a 24 valve head for 2 reasons......well 1 reason..... I can run a micro blind 7 hole, and I can run a 6 hole SAC. My new injectors are 7x.011 Micro blind SAC, extrude honed 30% over
