Happy Thanksgiving folks. I hope it's a great day for everyone.

Anybody else have a mini heart attack when you are driving and smell burning wires?

I was cruising the RC and some skeezer must have been burning insulation off of wires or something because I went through a section of road that smelled exactly like burning electricals. I could have ran over a busload of nuns and not known it, I was staring so hard at my voltmeter.

You guys need to relax! Just drive the darn thing and the issues will make themselves known in short order. I don't worry about funny smells until I see smoke.
(unless it's a poop smell, then I head for the nearest restroom ;) )

I don't worry about my 4th gen. I know there's a bearing going in one of the difs, but everything else is doing fine. I haven't actually touched the engine aside from maintenance in over a year now

Well, Monday morning I jet off for Racine to learn about Case graders. I don't know if I can get on here with my phone, sometimes it doesn't like my password or something.
Try not to wreck the place without me while I'm gone. ;)

Mine works, so I'll be sure to do my best at derailing everything while you aren't here.

Apparently the guys at my new job like how I work as a mechanic. I guess they've said nice things about me
