Tim is real busy at work last I knew, I haven't heard from him in quite a while now.
Jon is ok, he has 2 kids now, driving a Chevy Cruze diesel, and recently started a new job for a telecommunications outfit. I can't remember which one.
Andrew is around too, most of us are FB friends so we keep in touch better than here. He's been restoring garden tractors over the winter.

I worked for AT&T last year, ok money but NO time as I was driving 70ish miles to work one way. Also my work days were M-Tues, Thurs-Sat. I had Sundays and Wednesdays off.

I now work for CenturyLink. $7/hr more, M-F, OT after 8 hours. Best part is the commute. 1.5 miles. I think I might start biking to work as I can cut through the cemetery and cut almost 3/4 mile off.

Ike posts on Facebook some. I think him and his wife are expecting another. He has been working on his truck, I think he's doing a complete frame off restore now?

I've been avoiding Facebook lately, but I've been playing with my 93 a bunch in the last couple days. I changed out my 68/60 turbine wheel for a 70/59 turbine wheel out of an he351ve with les than stellar results so far. Spoolup is unchanged, but drive pressure also seems unchanged. I also backed my spring gate off to 1 turn over finger today, and swapped my primary boost, and drive pressure lines, so I can see what drive pressure is doing from in the cab. I'll switch those back after I test for a bit to keep from sooting the gauge up.

A whole week, and no posts here. Man we're really slacking.

On a "fun" note I washed mine, and my brothers trucks today in 40* weather. My fingers were a little numb afterwards, but she's clean, and there's a little less oil coating the underside, so hopefully it doesn't leave puddles of oil on the driveway for a bit.

Facebook groups are killing a number of forums I visit. Which sucks because I much prefer forums as info doesn't seem to get lost like it does in those damn groups.

I couldn't agree more. I am on a few facehole pages, but I don't post anymore.

"The Pile" got a quick re-body four years ago. Haven't had much time to deal with the nagging small items...and lack of good brakes. It could stand a proper frame off...its rusting again

Heck, my VW is still crunched from when I blasted a buck in December of '15. If anyone has a lead on a clean silver 99-04 (MK4) hood for a Jetta, let me know. There are a bazillion silver 99-04's around, but seems to be that good hoods and fenders are about as rare as hens teeth

So, I bought another 1st Gen.

I bought it from Hinckley, IL which ended up being a 16 hour round trip. I bought and picked it up on April 2nd, on the 400+ mile trip home it got a hand calculated 20mpg as well which is more than I was expecting. It is a '92 W350, Getrag, 180K miles.

The best part?

It fits in my garage! My '91 is at my brother's shop since I really don't drive it anymore and I haven't had it at my house since closing in January. I really didn't want another dually but since I'm selling my '10 TDI back I've been searching for another 1st Gen (I kinda still want an '89 D250, to be honest) and this truck was by far and away the best one I could find. I'm looking for a set of stock wheels for it now, the ones on it are hideous. If anyone knows where a set is or wants to trade, let me know.
