Work Beaters, Lets see em

Postby pulltilbroke » Sat Dec 25, 2010 1:42 am

Here is my work beater I just picked up a few months ago, been working on it to get it running decent. Did plugs, wires, 1 coil, an oil change, and put a wheel bearing in it, now just gotta do brake all the way around, mufflers, the cat has to fall off, needs a pair of tires, need to figure out all the locks, and make it so I don't have to used a screwdriver to latch the trunk, other than that shes cherry

This was also a good excuse to test out the new camera.

This is my new winter beater. I drive it when I don't need to tow anything or take stuff to the dump.

Here's mine. A 93 with 270,000 miles, totally thrashed. The only thing that works is the engine and transmission, every panel is dented and mangled, but it drives!

I'm gonna have to post pics of "Marge" tomorrow. Grandpa bought it new off the showroom in '91. It's one of the cars that won't die, 222,599mi as of tonight. Hauled a 454 block home in the trunk one time. Hauled plenty of cummins parts around with it.

I'm trying to sell my Duramax with no luck to get a little car to comute in. 60-150 miles a day is getting hard on the wallet at 16-18 mpg right now on winter blend.

Thats what i was thinking when i was building it. I decided to keep it "stock" so it still has one of these old 1970's gas engines in it.

work truck/trailer

I usually do whatever I have to do while out and about for work, so my dodge doesn't see much use. I may drive it once a week.

Once it warms up though, this is my beater.
