Should be mid 60's Rich. Good job Caleb, it looks really clean! I hauled one of those back to the owner for a guy, it was a big load for the ol' Dodge! It didn't help I had a bad U-joint, that showed itself as soon as I let the clutch out under load. :bom:

I have always liked those! Even though it's a Deere product.

8) I want an R or a 4020 one day. Had an R on the farm when I was a kid, it was quite the intimidating and fun driving experience when you're nine. Especially after almost getting run over by it pull starting it with the massey harris 30. I learned to pin the throttle on the 30 in 3rd and keep it there when the R started puffing smoke in 4th after that.

4020s are generally overpriced, but I think I got a good deal. They're a really handy tractor. Supposed to be 101hp N/A diesel. It's probably 9000 lbs, so not light, but not super heavy. This one feels strong compared to the tired turbo power shift one I've ran before.

Overpriced is an opinion! The prices stay up because they are one of the all time great tractors. They ran great, had few problems, and were decent on fuel. There are a lot of them still in service today. One that hasn't been beat to crap is worth as much today as it was 10 years ago. Kind of like our trucks, the price drops to a certain point, then it just stops, and that's what they are worth.

Remps, I have an R, It's almost completely new inside. I just need to assemble the pony and put it on, and finish the body work.

So I learned something rather interesting yesterday. I compared a h1c, and an he351ve turbine wheel, and it turns out the ve has a 2mm larger inducer than the h1c (70mm vs. 68mm), but a 1mm smaller exducer (59mm vs. 60mm), and the inducer portion is shorter by nearly half of the h1c's. The shafts, and threads are identical though, so they'll drop right in if you wanted (which actually kind of makes me want to swap the ve turbine wheel, and shaft into my hybrid to see if it makes any difference in drive pressure)

Caleb......that is a very nice looking 4020, down here you would have to give 12k-14k + for that one.

So is it safe to assume you are the guy that won the lotto up there.

People get really motivated to sell when you show up with a trailer and a pocket full of Ben Franklins. I call Craigslist the Land of Lowballers and NoShows.

As for the lottery, you have to play to win

I'm at an impasse with the lottery.

I expect to win if I have a ticket.

Yet they expect me to pay for the ticket.
