Haha its pretty ridiculous. Would you believe the idle is the only reason i put it together?? I had nearly everything "in stock" and did it just because it sounds tough and confuses the uneducated.

That is probably the meanest sounding neon I've ever heard.

On another note since I have no life I took the 1.1 t4 housing I'm using on my primary and smoothed it out so hopefully the high temp paint will stick better. Here's the result after about 5 hours worth of work.

Picked this new toy up last weekend. Its a non-winch soft top model, no cargo cover or bows, but man, it runs good. Other than some clogged fuel filters on the journey home, smooth recovery. Driven a few deuces, but this ones fast, easily do 60, holds speed going up a hill, I'd have no problem pulling into busy traffic with it. Just plain fun to drive

Me too. That thing looks killer. I've driven one deuce and a half, and the first time I did it had no brakes which was scary since the yard was sloped. I did end up getting them to work good after I finally gravity bled the brakes

That's one of the downsides, single circuit brake system. Been keeping an eye out for a retro kit from a later air force deuce, some had dual circuit systems. I'd love to sling a set of 5-ton air brake axles under it, maybe down the road. Just gonna drive it for now

Yeah this one had an air assisted hydraulic setup. Worked good after a bunch of work.

That was scary. Dmann 1stgen.org has a fb page where you can check if something isn't working.

I told swank there were about 20 junkies going thru withdrawal, he just laughed at me. :(
I couldn't find the fb page for a while, had to dig for it. I "liked" it a while back, but it doesn't show up in my feeds.
