Been dealing with insurance companies all week. Hit a deer Sunday night headed home from my shop. Usually they just have you take your car to the body shop and its estimated. This time I've got to wait for there adjuster claims guy to be in the area, at a time I'm available because I work nights.

$2500 worth of damage to a 2004 Pontiac Montana mini van, that's rusted out with 216000 miles on it. They gave me the option to have it fixed, or take a check and repair myself

Just happen to have a headlight assembly on the shelf 8) not bad for a $1000 beater

A buddy of.mine has "totaled" his 300k mile cavalier 3 times. He's never been at fault, so his insurance is still fine and he's made a couple grand off that car.

Got any pics by chance? Also, how do these mount up with the coined hubs and flanged nuts?

Just had a buddy buy a truck for me. Not sure if it was a help or not.... 91 half ton short bed v6 5 speed. He bought it so I could get the fenders from it. Then he sends me pics. So far it looks in way better shape than my cab. So my question is what do I need to do to make the half ton stand the cummins? Or just pull fenders and part the truck?

I tried to do a launch today on the way home, got to 10 psi and pop! went my driver side rear brake line. I about crapped when the brake pedal went to the floor. Turns out the line had been rubbing on a bolt for what looks like a while, and the excessive brake pressure hastened its demise. Better when I'm not moving than when I'm racing I suppose.

I Imagine it probably was. I Had a moment of fear the other day when I could swear I heard jaeger miss driving back from school. Didn't do it again, but there's still the fear that I've hurt the engine

I just responded to your pm. If you have any other questions ask away. Like I said mine is a pain to drive because its so nose heavy and just wants to spin. I have the stuff to put a 5.2 in it but haven't made my mind up yet.

Been looking st Slant 6 tracks to replace my van. Finally find one, '83 with decent body, manual trans and 4x4, and they want $5300 it. No wonder Cummins trucks are so ridiculously priced.
Found an 89, 2wd auto with a v6, municipal owned, $4000. WTF

I've been back on my diesel garden tractor project. I spent all afternoon last Saturday fooling with the throttle, and several hours today. I hope I have it figured out. I did get the exhaust elbow cut and welded on the flange, misses the battery box by 1/8 inch.
