It's basically a 1stgen underneath minus the x-fer. 727/241/60/70, 35" tires. Carpet in front, vinyl rear, captain chairs in front and bench rear.

The 241 and disc swap may have dropped some weight.

I've also got the 8" diesel frame, though again, I'm not sure that adds all that much in reality.

Not sure to be honest. I've got a decent amount of "little" things that may be contributing in the end to it. That is also with me in the truck and about a 1/4 tank.

Reason I weighed both of them the same day.... I was so surprised on how light the 06 was, I wanted to double check what the RC said (I was certain their scale had changed since last time I weighed the RC), but nope same weight.

I'm Going to have to run The Roo Hunter over the scales again once it's running. Last time I weighed it it came in at 5100lb with me in it. Jaeger came in at 7700.

Back when I first bought my very first non i/c 4x4 with a getrag, I was able to find the stock curb weight showed 5600#. Which is what mine weighed (after I took out my weight) on the dump scale.

I can't seem to find, for the life of me, the listed curb weight online.

But I know my dad's 91 non i/c weighed 5600, and now it weighs 7100 being a crew cab. And my buddies 90 cab and chassis std cab weighed 6100.

Does an automatic weigh that much less?

I can pick up a 727 by myself and lift it into the bed of a truck pretty easily. It's not like I'm the hulk either, I'm 6' tall and 150 lbs.

I couldn't even consider doing the same to some aluminum case 5 speeds I've dealt with and the Getrag is a cast iron case, I think.

my NV4500 weighs a hell of a lot more than my np205 I know that. Or at least it sure felt like it was. That bitch was heavy.

I can pick up my Getrag, but I usually can't walk the next morning if I do. Picking it from the floor is impossible, but I can move it if it is up higher.

I know I'm not right, but not right doesn't mean I'm a homo! ;)

I can honestly say... it was AWESOME, while it was going on. But, I left and soon after I felt the same. Kind of like a blow job to be honest..... immediate, mind blowing relaxation, and then... normal again.

P.S. I had a massage by a dude. Just stop before you type...    He was a very nice gentleman and we had a nice, fulfilling conversation about hunting.

This was posted back on page 267, naturally you are now (still) gay.

No a 47th isn't light, especially with a 241DHD hanging off of it.

It's good you put the still in that sentence Eric.

I can lift the getrag case myself no problem. With gears in it no chance though. Never tried any of the other transmissions though. The 68rfe looks like it'll be heavy sob. Good thing I've got a trans jack, and a lift at home
